Evan designs and sells her line of children’s clothing, Evan Brooke Ethical Clothing. She was inspired to do so a few years ago when presented with the opportunity to work with an ethical garment manufacturer hiring and training women who have come out of poverty and exploitation in Nepal.
After learning about the supply chains of most of our clothing (and other imported products), Evan became a huge advocate for fair trade and second-hand buying. She says “Buy less, and buy thoughtfully!”
She now also works with Texas refugees in Austin and San Antonio, and carries items produced by 3 awesome organizations that prioritize fair trade practices.
